Infinite Loading Screen

So, I'm getting the infinite loading screen glitch and can't go to other lots. My game is also a lot laggier than it used to be, especially when loading up regular cooking from the fridge (gourmet cooking was fine though). 

I had not updated since before Lovestruck released because I usually wait for the game to be stable before I update (it's not been stable all summer). I updated to play the Reaper's Rewards Event, and was able to at least get through the event and unlock all the rewards on my account, but I couldn't even save when I finished it because of the loading screen glitch. So I'm gonna have to go back into my legacy family save later and just cheat the rewards. 

I hope the game gets fixed up soon. Now I can't even just play offline on a stable update since I decided to play the event. I can't continue playing at all right now. Unless I decided to just never leave my home lot, and that's not my play style.
