[Info Request] Sims moving

My sim is now moving out of her old house  and into a new apartment. It's like one of those expensive pent houses. I wish to rent the place out  while furnished but it's only appearing  unfurnished  ...

I tried what you mentioned and it doesn't work. I repaired the game more than I can count. CC are mods rights? I do not have them if that is what that is. I'll look into that article, but I don't think it'll work. :c

Yes I just moved her into a different unit apartment, before I settled I tried moving her into cheaper ones to and they all work just fine, except I'm starting to think you can't move into previously old homes or apartments furnished if the previous home owners died. Which might actually suck.

Yes, that will suck if they really can take it with them.... I hope that is a glitch/stuck situation rather than a rule.

No, Mods and CC are not the same thing, but both are non-EA code (not created by EA) and many people use them... and a big game update recently broke a lot of them, so this is causing an issue for a number of gamers.
