@unseenlarks, I just saw the complete livestream video from last week and the sign in the game said Llamante so "Lllamante" is a typo, like we thought! 🤭😃:eahigh_file:
All this confusion over one little "L"!
Now I feel silly explaining to a native speaker what some words in her language mean! 😳 But its not like I know every word in English, so I guess there is always something to learn! 😉
I totally forgot about the verb "llamar" ! Thanks for reminding me! 😇 And that is so funny about "llameante" meaning "flaming" -- folks, keep those campfires under control! 😃 (Maybe the mountain is really a volcano!) 😮👿
Looking at some of the new decorations in Jungle Adventure from the livestream I see a definite llama vibe! 😎
Thanks for mentioning that "nte" is often in names! I'd seen it before, but I couldn't think of any other words with it and it wasn't taught as a rule like the ending of "-dad" corresponding to the English ending of "-ity". (Universidad/University, etc.) Now that you mention it, I remember seeing the last name "Bustamente". And now that triggers memories of other words like "imediamente" meaning "immediately" ! I proabaly didn't remember it because it is an adverb! 😳😃
So maybe the official meaning of Puerto Llamante is " Llamaly Port" or "Llamaish Port"! 😉
Anyway, this looks like a great Game Pack! 🥳
without your explanation, i wouldn't have caught the name by listening alone.
me being me, i can't remember what else i said, just that i pronounce "llama" as "shama" *and* that i definitely don't know every word in Spanish, not even close.
also that i love "Llamaish Port"! and i would like to see more of the architecture and about those areas signalised by question marks.
