vero_bria08 What path were you trying to change? You can't move the game's program files simply by selecting a different location; you'd need to uninstall and reinstall to that location. And this is independent of the location of user data (saves, mods, etc.), which is always in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.

Thank you for this! For some reason, the other times I unistalled and reinstalled it wasn't prompting me to pick a location. I was finally able to and have been able to play but now I am getting a new error message. The game will load into the home screen but will freeze once I'm actually in the game to play. Do you think this is still cc/mod related? I've updated my mods and cc to the most recent ones and this problem seems to be coming out of nowhere. I've attached a screenshot of my game.
