interior design career not fully working

when I was playing with the career the clients kept disappearing when my sim went to their house and I could not have my sim interview the clients for what they wanted in the interior design and what room they wanted the interior design in.

Does this happen each time? If it does, and if you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
