I really love the concept and I know a lot of simmers, especially on console, have been asking for more progression without the need for mods. So hopefully this will be a way to offer that. However, I can see the potential for this to be rather intrusive if active sims are constantly getting calls or texts asking for advice about their sim friends' entire lives. I hope that there is an option to disable this feature if players would rather not have the stories be a part of their game. Although, considering there's no option to disable likes / dislikes and my sims are often inundated with notifications about that AND there's no option to disable sentiments which I find very disruptive at times, I'm not exactly optimistic we'll have the option to disable the stories feature. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this plays out.
Oh, also...
"Accept a marriage proposal, if they are already Engaged to another Sim. Neighbor Sims will not autonomously get married for now."
I don't understand the difference between accepting a marriage proposal and getting engaged. Does this mean that if I befriend Darrel Charm or his fiancee Emilia Ernest, they're going to call me and ask if they should get engaged? that seems kind of redundant. I mean, they're already engaged, so that's not a change in status.
