invisible second floors

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? build a house with stairs next to the wall
What happens when the bug occurs? it shows the outside world, rather than a wall
What do you expect to see? i know it might not be possible to have it render the REAL upstairs wall, but even just a pretend white wall to cover the outside world would be nice 🙂
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

That is normal. If you want to take screenshots but show the upper floor above the stairwell you must use the tab key to use the cinematic camera mode in live mode. Make sure you're on the upper floor, press the tab key, then use E and Q to go up and down.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City Living, Get to Work, Island Living, Get Famous. (The bug/glitch happens even with the base game, and the expansions uninstalled.)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If possible, build a basic rectangular house with a few floors; on the first floor place down a set of stairs, go into 'first-person view' with the Sims 3 camera and look up the stairs.
What happens when the bug occurs? The top of stairs, or flooring removed for split-level purposes glitches out, and instead of showing what's supposed to be on the floor above (as in f.ex. the hallway at the top of the stairs on the second floor, or the loft on the second floor seen from the first floor) it instead shows the outdoors—completely ignoring/not rendering walls, or objects in the way on the floor above. It becomes a view-portal to the outside, like a glitch-window that shouldn't exist.
What do you expect to see? The interior of the house without a glitch-portal that's clearly a bug.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

    • I have tried repairing the game.
    • I have tried reinstalling the game. Twice. One of them completely fresh.
    • I have tried without any expansion packs installed.
    • I have tired with all associated files that I could find deleted, including my saves. (Aka the EA folder in 'My Documents'.)
    • Yes, the second story floor which the stairs lead up to have completed walls, and a ceiling, too.

This bug was not present a week ago, and I have to the best of my knowledge not installed anything, or done any kind of updates on my computer.

I have heard of others with this issue when I looked for a fix, and what I found was dated back six, seven months ago. No mentions of a solution, or someone having it fixed.

Here's the image I provided, just as a clickable imgur link instead.

Thank you kindly for any assistance. ♥
