Is fishing in Sulani broken again?

As you can see, as soon as I got my original save put into the new folder, she still could not fish. So my next option was to repair the game. This did not work either. SO mods or no mods, this save will not let my sim fish. UGH...This is the third time I have tried play a sim living in Sulani, making their living off of the fish and what they can grow on the island. Of course, the first time I tried was before the fishing glitch everyone was having occurred. My Jason Mamoa was living fine until it occurred.  I tried to recreate him later while the glitch was still happening to no success. This sim is in a completely different save that I started after it was fixed. She has gone thru Uni and I got wild idea to just move her after a vacation, to Sulani full time. I had her fishing off the boat for awhile as I also had this sim making money off of odd jobs, so she would work scuba diving then fish after she located the object required to complete the job. So it just didn't occur to me to have her fish anywhere else. Until she had made enough money to support herself off of fishing and foraging or growing food. It was only in the last rotation did I notice this happening, but I completely forgot about it until the next time to play her house.

I will admit, this totally bums me out. I finally began a long term save to play and have tried to be careful about the things I have read that can ruin your save and your gameplay. I use Plumbuddy and Sims Mod Manager, when I install a mod, I use CurseForge and creators Paetron pages to stay on top of all mods, and when the updates happen, I do everything I possibly can to make sure my game is at 100%. What can one do to prevent a save from becoming corrupted? I have even tried to be careful and not add rentals to my game, knowing this can corrupt it. I DO download lots and sims from the gallery, and I have been hearing grumbles about people downloading corrupt lots and sims. Could this be my problem?

So I guess fishing is NOT broken, but my save is. In case anyone is reading this thinking the this could be a problem with their game.
