The police career is a lot of fun but something to watch out for is that crime scenes don't always clean up afterwards as they should, so you might need to pop into build mode later and delete the body outlines and fix broken equipment if it's a house you later visit/purchase. Also your most helpful reward trait here is the Observant Trait, it's invaluable when looking for suspects. It is a bit buggy but it's also fun. You may enjoy the suspect interrogation bit and get a kick out of the Evil police chief cackling away to themselves in their office. I keep waiting for them to do something Evil but so far it's just creepy laughter.
@simsplayer818 Cool thank you for that. I can't remember if my sim has that trait or not, but now that you mention it it sounds like it may be worth experimenting with it myself. I had one work day where I was just starting on a new job level, I had just earned a promotion the previous day, but because I managed to get lucky and cure multiple patients I earned another promotion with just one day of work. Seeing that just made me wonder if I could rely on curing patients for career performance and skip the tasks, then again if I can't cure any patients that plan would fail miserably.
The evil chief does catch my attention, even if you say they don't really do anything. The first thing it made me think of is a character on an old comedy show that I absolutely love. The character claims to be evil, along with his sidekick, but they're both just a couple of goofs. Not sure I like the sound of having to clean up after it though, that sounds a little crappy, though if it at least sometimes does it itself that might not be too bad. You do make it sound at least a little interesting, minus the bugs of course, so I'll probably give it a try once I get a better feel for the doctor career.
Thank you again for the tips and the info, I appreciate it.
