I have a lot of mods, and one of them updated so there is more options on the menu. So with that mod, i started a fire and now the whole house is up in flames, but i cant use the mod to delete it or anything. I cant use anything in my inventory, i can't leave the lot or anything. Whatever i try to do gets blocked because of the fire on the lot. Is there a mod that allows me to do whatever I want even when there's a fire?
Sims will automatically leave a house on fire unless you tell them to extinguish the fire. (click on the fire). They may also by themselves put out the fire.
@realkendawgg in addition to @jpkarlsen suggestion you could let your Sim aspire the Freelance Botanist goal. With the trait that comes with completion of this goal, Your Sims will be able to extinguish most of the fires. Also, when you have scientists in your household who also have produced a Sim beam you can ask them to use the freeze beam to freeze the fire. By the way this can also be done by spellcasters with a highe skill level. I would like to know why the fire brigade did not come to extinguish the fire? Did you have a fire alarm installed in your Sims house?
That said, could the fact that your sims house burned down be in any way related to the use of this 'new' mod?
I hope you can still load one of the saves before this event so you do not lose everything. In that case, instead of starting your game, click the button load game in the startpage of the Sims 4 and choose restore saved game at the bottom of that menu. Good luck.
