Is there any specific time the wild rabbits and birds to help my garden?

Hi, my sim became friends with 2 rabbits and 2 wild birds. They promised to help my garden but they don't visit my house in the morning time. The lot traits are homey and great soil. Am I doing something wrong maybe? Oh I have 2 sims in my household. One of them has super green thumb store trait. Some part  start having weeds but no wild animals visit.

    @aodoherty 

    Those out in the wild are too far from your garden. Befriending them gives you the option to buy a bird tree and a rabbit treestup.

    Ahhh I found them. Thanks! :D

    But the new friends in my lot still don't do anything..They became friends with my sims but the rabbit got into the home, and the birds are flying around and that's all. There are some weeds in my garden but they don't even go near there. My sims have 3 rabbit friends and 2 flock of birds in total, but nobody helps..
