Social event goals not working

I need to do a party for my teen sims aspiration, every time I do the party it comes up with "(my sim) is not participating in this social event" even though they're set as the host.I need to get gold level using the goals for the aspiration but the goals are not coming up.

I've reset all the sims, I've made sure there's no other events as well. There's nothing, it's just not working.

hamsters54321 The usual cause of no party goals/tasks is that the goals were not enabled when the party was created. So, the next time you schedule a party, make sure the enable goals checkbox on the left is checked when you select the type of party.
