A dig pile has spawned right behind the first gate and I can no longer access the jungle. It doesn’t reset when I switch families or leave and come back. Is there a fix that doesn’t require me to disable the expansion and wreak havoc on the entire world that has used bits and pieces in the builds and decor
jodzstar I'm not sure why a dig pile would prevent you from accessing the jungle. The sims should just walk by it. But there are 2 ways that I know of to get rid of the dig pile. Neither way is perfect and both have drawbacks, so you'll have to decide which is better for you.
The 1st way is to delete the dig pile. It does require you to turn testingcheats on which means that achievements get disabled for that save since you are on a console. Once testingcheats is on, you need to use the Xbox control that is the equivalent to shift click on PC on the dirt pile. You will get an option menu which has a Destroy Object option among others. Click that and the object will be deleted. A word of warning. This is a very powerful and dangerous option that if used incorrectly or carelessly, will wreck a save. You must be very careful when using it to make sure you have the correct object selected before using it. Also, save before you use it.
The 2nd way is to disable JA and run the game and save. Then quit and reenable the pack so the world will be restored. You've already indicated that you know the consequences of doing that so enough said.
