Knock on door missing
I DO NOT have the "For Rent" pack. When visiting other households, all the "front doors" do not allow me to "knock on the door", it wants me to "switch control of households". When using the "teleport" to go to back door - ONLY sometimes am I able to "knock on the door". More often then not, I still get "switch control of households". This does not permit my sims to visit all the time! Sometimes the visit can happen as though we had "knocked on the door" it is very inconsistant.

Crinrict Hero, Yes I am able to set the "front door" as "front door". However, I have noticed that SOMETIMES, here's that inconsistant thing again, I have to play the household #2 I want to visit after I try to visit them with household #1 with no success and I am able to "reset" the front door as the "front door". Then go back with the #1 household and visit household #2. (I hope that's easy to follow. I've been playing sims since the very first sim game was created well over 20 years ago. I NEVER had this issue until the "for Rent" pack Icon showed up in my game. I stopped getting packs after the "Home Chef Hustle pack" because the issues really increased in my game after that one and the list has been growing since, though I have not added any new packs. I won't either until my game will play so I am not constantly dealing with unresolved issues. I never had custom content or used MODS in my game as the last time I did 2 years ago, I had to delete my entire game and completely start over because it was so corrupted from - THEY said from Custom content - I have NEVER used MODS - but when I started completely over from scratch so to speak, I discovered that they changed and deleted most of the in game achievements, relabeled items in the game and more, which I feel was the REAL ISSUES. They still do these things and if you don't keep track, you won't see them or perhaps even notice. (I was once a programmer now I am just OLD and well, lazy by choice! LOL ). I was hoping that this issue would be somehow addressed in the feb 14 laundry list. I do have 8/15 issues they hope to fix. I hope the one to fix the lot type will be addressed for sure as that could have a play in it. I don't know how it's coded. But I do thank you for reading and responding, unfortunately no one else who DOES NOT have "For Rent", has reported this issue or at least I could not find one before commenting here. I was hoping that if they knew that I didn't have "for rent" but a very similar issue they might find the link between them. One can only hope! Have an awesome day!
