Leveling up Skills - Shows Level 1, 2, etc one by one

When I use the cheat code to max a sims skill, it will display each progress level one by one. For example, if I type in stats.set_skill_level Major_Logic 10, it will start with 'Your sim has leveled up to logic skill 1', then it will display, 'Your sim has leveled up to logic 2', one by one on the screen. This started several months ago and I'm surprised no one else reported this bug if it happens for them because I'm sure it would've been solved by now.
