Cheats no longer working on PC - no mods or cc
I run Sims 4 on a PC, I noticed that it was running slow, my households were no longer showing on the main page and I was unable to have any cheats work on New games, they do work on my saved games. Due to the extreme slowness I did all of the normal "fixes" - deleted cache, repaired game, uninstalled and reinstalled all games (Rebooting in the middle) game is vanilla and I'm still unable to run cheats ctrl shift c -- testing cheats true -- cas.fulleditmode -- any of them. Is there any thing more I can do or is this due to the update that hit? Thank you
My sim can't afford to repair something fished out of the dumpster
In my gameplay, my sim's boyfriend dumpster dives to sell stuff for money and to use the stuff found. I used the cheat for the smog vacuum, but apparently she can't afford to repair it? Can someone tell me and to fix this? I'm not even sure where to begin.[CL] Elevator in Penthouse disappeared
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a frustrating glitch in The Sims 4 and I'm hoping someone can help or that the development team is aware of the issue. I own the For Rent and City Living expansion packs, and I’ve decorated two penthouses in the game. However, the elevator in these penthouses disappeared completely. Now, I can’t place a new elevator, which means my tenants can’t access their homes at all. I’ve tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, like using the move objects cheat and repairing the game files, but no luck so far. Has anyone else run into this problem? PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! For almost a month I can't seem to get the cheat bar to open up. I have taken out my mods, updated my mods, updated my game and repaired the game and I cant seem to fix the issue and its getting really annoying. I've googled solutions and nothing has helped me fix this...
