Loading screens

This afternoon just before 1pm GMT my game crashed. When I opened it again and hit resume game the loading screens were endless. I shutdown my computer because I couldn't do anything else. I restarted the app and again hit resume. Still more loading screens. I repaired my game and attempted to get into my game and was stuck more loading screens. So, at 1pm GMT I put a lap timer on my phone and stopped it at 2:30pm GMT. I then shutdown my computer and tried again. I thought these endless loading screens had been fixed. In fact as I am typing this I am stuck in a never ending loading screen. I do wish I could get my money back for the ENTIRE game and all the packs I own but that's never going to happen. Does anyone know if loading screens have been fixed at all or are they still in the fix-it-now stage.

    Never ending loading screens have a boatloat of causes. Basically the game runs into an error and can't load the game. Can basically be anything. You can find some detailed information on them here:  📓[GUIDE] Endless Loading | EA Forums - 5037259 

    Few questions for you

    • Are you using any mods/cc in your game ?
    • Does it happen for any household or just a specific one ?
    • Have you tried using load instead of resume ?
    • If it's all the households on that save, does it work on a new save ?
    • Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
      • Delete the ones you have
      • Trigger the error again
      • Check if new ones are created
      • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
