I really miss when Sims 3 was have option for lock any hairstyles, clothes, accessories, etc with all outfit categories. It was so much easier and save much time in many situations, I really wish Sims 4 could had this option.
It's so infuriating. I didn't play sims 3 but I played sims 2 and in cas you're given the option to set the makeup and accessories for all the outfits with one click... It's so annoying when your sim all of a sudden has huge earrings, a bowler hat, awful makeup, and sunglasses when they change into their pjs...
Please EA... it would be so easy for you to implement..,
It would make it easier if this worked, the same way that the hairstyle for everyday, option 1 is automatically set for all categories. Then I just change formal and party hair and thats it. But piercings, nails make-up... especially piercings. My CAS sticks on console really badly in CAS as I've mentioned before, so I have to press Back before I add every single item, it takes ages. I also create large families to separate into their own lots and if I take a break, exit and save at any point it affects the familial links (one Sim didn't know her dad as a result) so I have to do this for 8 Sims at a time very often.
Wedding/engagement rings are a prime example and some categories only contain a few of the wedding rings instead of all of them. They would really be on all outfits IMO.
I personally think a blank shell Sim should be generated with zero accessories, just a mannequin style basic shell similar to what we get when setting the retail uniform or fashion trends design. I think we should then have an option to set a basic default look if we want to and make it an option for those of us that would like that feature.

And glasses! If you need glasses, you need glasses. And you're not going to buy a different pair for each outfit unless you're stupid rich. I'd love to be able to set glasses to all, then just remove from the sleep outfit.
