Lots and buildings disappear when entering them
Hi, I’m having several issues with my game while trying to create a save file, and I haven’t been able to fix them for weeks.
The main problem is that lots and buildings disappear when I enter them. For example, when I place houses from the Gallery, I can see them normally on the map. However, when I enter the lot with a household, the house is completely gone and the lot appears empty. Another strange thing is that when I enter a lot, the surrounding lots sometimes appear completely empty, even though I already placed houses, restaurants, or other buildings there. In some cases, if I go back to Manage Worlds, the buildings appear again, but when entering the lot they disappear.
I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps:
- I reinstalled the game three times
- I updated all my mods
- I checked that the lots appear correctly in Manage Worlds
But the issue still happens and I cannot properly play or build my save file.
I’m also having problems related to For Rent. Sometimes when I try to set up rental units, the game does not allow me to select units properly, or when I assign rooms and numbers, the lot shows 0 bedrooms and 0 bathrooms on the map even though they are clearly there. Additionally, with the Businesses & Hobbies system, when I try to create a residential + business lot, the game does not allow me to separate the residential area from the business area. It treats everything as shared space instead of letting me define the private residential area.
These issues make it almost impossible for me to play normally or continue working on my save file. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might be causing this?
