Mean Streak is stuck

Question

I had a teen sim go through a mean streak right before aging up and now it's not in her list of traits but she suddenly just yells at other sims, mostly her husband, out of nowhere. No erratic or mean traits.

I can't find it to get rid of it and it really doesn't suit her personality at all. Any suggestions?

I've had this issue before and I remove it by making cheats active (press Control+Shift+C, type testingcheats true and press Enter) and then typing traits.remove_trait childhoodphase_meanstreak in the cheats bar.

Only way I know how to cure this is using MCCC.

Not in game at the mo', but I think it is this

Click on affected sim - MCCC | Cheat Sim Info | Mood/Buff Control

Leave the box blank and click OK

Look through the list for a buff with the word phase and mean in it.

Click it - gone :)
