Missing Sims

Hello,

I have a number of Sims in my game that are in a Sims phonebook or relationships tab, but they're not in manage households or in world. I can still invite these Sims to a house and add adults to a family, but since one of these Sims is a baby and therefore cannot be invited to a house, I was wondering if anyone would know how to find these Sims?

If a sim is not in played or unplayed households it's a NPC - also called 'townies'. Please view SimGuruNick's comment on the issue at this link:

If you would like to add any sim that you cannot find in played or unplayed households into your game's households, please do the following:

    • Call on the phone and invite to your lot or somehow get this sim on your lot
    • Open the cheat box (shift+ctrl+c)
    • Type "testingcheats true" (without the quotation marks) in the box that opens at the top left of the screen
    • Now shift+click on the sim and select "add to household". This will add them to your sim's household.
    • Now you can go to edit households and move the sim to its own household. (In the 'Manage Households' in worldview.)
    • It will be found at this point in your 'played/favorited households'. This will protect the sim from being culled. If you don't want it in your 'played/favorited households'  then just click the solid heart on the household in 'Manage Households'.
