Missing Twin

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.62.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Outdoor Retreat, Laundry Day Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff. Romantic garden Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, Holiday Celebration Pack.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Having a sim find out they are pregnant with twins early on, then I took them to the hospital with their husband and only 1 baby is showng to be born.
What happens when the bug occurs? My second child does not even show as being born, does not show up in the family line, or in a bassinet. Then you get a prompt of the child needing food or it'll be taken away.
What do you expect to see? To have my second child in the family without the unnamed one being taken away when I can't see it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

early on when my sim got pregnant, she found out she was having twins. After she went into labour, she only ended up having one child. Which I named, and it was placed in its' bassinet, but then I got prompts saying simfirstname is starving and will be taken away. They are not in my inventory, and there was no prompt saying they were even born. I am wondering if there is a fix for this at all.

    @Azure_Goddess Bit unsure on this but how do you find out that you're having twins early ?

    Was the baby actually taken away or did you feed it and all was good ?

    I closed out the game before the kid was taken away. And she found out early by taking a pregnancy test, and it said she was having twins. Then she started having the mood modifiers of eating for two. The second baby was not even shown to be born, but I'm still getting notifications for it.

    @Azure_Goddess Oh, the eating for two just means that you're eating for the Sim + the baby (basically, Yeah, you're pregnant)

    To my knowledge there's no way of knowing how many you get prior to the birth.

    @crinrict There's no way to tell without a mod. MCCC will tell you how many you're having. I don't know of any other way.

    Yeah, as above, eating for two just means that the pregnancy test is positive (currently only sure of having at least 1 baby). The game on it's own can't tell you if there are twins, but using the MC Command Center does allow you to find out gender, number of babies, and change those things. I'm not sure if the "simfirstname" was maybe just a minor glitch? If there was another sim family you had been playing that was expecting, there's a chance the game glitched and gave you a notification from a different family. Other than that, I'm not really sure what it could've been.
