Monster still coming even with monster night light

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place the monster night light by a child sims bed and have them sleep.
What happens when the bug occurs? The child sim wakes up and there is a monster under the bed even though the night light is there.
What do you expect to see? The child sim sleep all the way through the night without the monster coming and waking them up.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I’ve been having this issue for a while now. It used to only happen once in a while but now it’s every time I try to use this night light. The only way my child sleeps through the night is using the cats and dogs night light, so that one works, just not the base game monster night light.
