more ideas for sims 4
I have some ideas for the sims 4; - buy your own dokters clinic (like vet clinic) So you can have your own doctor practice! - university - people in a weelchair and more realistic diseases; -...
I wasn't going to reply, but my curiosity got the better of me...
- university
I don't understand why everyone wants this. I played it in the previous games and I always thought it was pretty tedious. Never cared for it myself. But since a lot of players want it, it might be a good idea, I just won't be playing it.
- people in a weelchair and more realistic diseases;
Personally I don't think this is a good idea. It would make the game too depressing for me to see people in crutches and wheelchairs, and dying of weird new diseases.
-Religion
I don't think this should even be touched on. This is a HUGE can of worms just begging for trouble.
- create your own worlds
THIS I like. I would LOVE this. One of the biggest things I missed about previous games was custom worlds.
- farming
Now I don't understand this at all. I've seen a few suggestions for this. How is this different from what we already have? We can already grow things, fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, we can harvest the crops, use them, sell them, isn't making a "farm" just a matter of designing the lot different? I don't get what would be in a "farm" update that we don't already have.
- realistic labors, more eye colours, more animals, cars, motor,
Don't know what "realistic labors" means, with CC, I already have TONS of eye colors, don't really need more. I don't really use the animals we already have, so more wouldn't benefit me at all.
I really miss the whole cars thing. Remember when we could purchase the broken down car and refurbish the entire thing? I miss that.
Just 'cause I don't like some of the suggestions, I know a lot of people do. I just don't understand some.
@Psychotps I see what you mean about the previous University EPs being tedious with all the added activities and social groups + dorm interactions--but consider this: adding in a University/College/Trade School option similar to the way grade school and high school function, except it's optional like a career or part-time job. I would absolutely love this if teen Sims (and up) can apply for further education on the phone, and have homework/term papers and build skill requirements to move on to the next level. They would be required to build skills, too, and after they complete their further education, they get some sort of advantage when applying for a job later that's related to their major, depending on how well they did--increased wages, starting on a higher career level, higher skills, existing relationships with other Sims in the field.
Farming would be great as a career option, in my opinion. They could set up stalls in community lots and sell their produce, have cows, chickens, and pigs (they used to have a dairy corral and chicken coop in TS3). These extra items could also just go to Sims living off the grid, since that's a new lot trait.
I loved Create a World, though I wasn't very good at making the neighborhoods look real. It was really heavy though, and made my computer crash a lot, even after I switched to a newer machine. Maybe something in between TS3's CAW and TS2's capability of customizing the number and placement of lots within an existing pre-set terrain would be possible for TS4..?
A simpler form of Create a Style would be great, too! That way I could make my furniture, doors, and windows, and other Build/Buy items less likely to clash, color-wise.
I'd love to get cars again, too. I get that they wouldn't really work the same as in TS3 because TS4 isn't open world, but there are so many functions the cars had before--pretend to drive for kids, learn how to drive and makeout for teens, building the car, Woohoo in car--it would even be nice if Washing the Car can be done as a chore to teach kids responsibility or something, or Nap in Car for Sims who get locked out or are parked somewhere else and are too tired to drive home.
I know there was some mention of diseases, but what about zits? Teen sims used to get zits and it would affect their mood. Some sims could also have allergies and some long-term conditions (but not too serious/life-threatening)--animal allergies, food allergies, asthma, near sighted-ness/far-sightedness.
I also miss groceries, even just ordering food similar to the way we purchase books would be good. That way sims could eat fresh fruits and buy specific ingredients if they wanted to make something/try to influence the gender of the baby of a pregnant sim.
I'm not too sure about adding sims with religions or disabilities, too. If these aren't done right, it could become offensive.
