More Vegetarian Food

With only one vegetarian option for the Grand Meals (Seasons) and no vegetarian options on the hot pot (Snowy Escape) I think we need Seitan Dinner as a Grand Meal and Yudofu as a hot pot meal.

As a Swede and vegetarian I would love to see this. Since Swedes usually eat ham for Christmas, not turkey, the Tofurky Dinner means nothing to me, so I would love to see a vegetarian version of the Ham Dinner. I think a Seitan Dinner would be perfect, and in The Sims it could look exactly the same as the Ham Dinner.

This is seitan:

And for the hot pot I'm thinking yudofu could be a nice vegetarian option, but if there are any Japanese people here you might have some better suggestions.

This is yudofu:

I would generally welcome to have more dishes without meat (and animal products). My sim is a vegetarian and lactose intolerance because this is only the option to have a *vegan* sim.

My lifestyle is vegan since many years and yeah, I can’t really play a sim self. I know is just a game and all animals in Sims are treated well but more animal-free food would be great too. And can we please have plant-milk from not cows? This would be nice.

@daikoyu  It is a bit weird that the "plant milk" comes from cows, they should rename it to lactose free milk or something. Like, the cows in TS4 are treated well, but I also understand that people who don't drink cow's milk IRL might feel a bit icked about it. I think plant milk should be possible to make yourself if you have either potatoes (base game), green peas (Seasons), coconuts (Island Living), soy beans (Eco Lifestyle), or flour (Cottage Living, grocery). They could possibly reuse a lot of the animations from the canning, but having it end up in a glass bottle instead of a glass jar.

@SqueamishNerd I just buy plant milk as a grocery and it makes perfect sense bc that's how we acquire it in real life anyway.. :D But I would love to see a seitan ham! I'm Nordic too so I agree, tofurkey is just weird.

I'm an American vegetarian so tofurkey is my holiday friend, 😉 but I'm always down for more vegetarian food.  Not even just more meat substitutes, although those are good, too, but... yeah.  I do have a vegetarian Sim who has no trouble finding food to eat, even when she was homeless (rags to riches), but I'd welcome some seitan and tofu dishes!

I love the idea of being able to make coconut milk or soy milk using coconuts from Island Adventure or soy from Eco Living. I wonder if anyone has made a mod to do that?
