Move object Bug

I play on PC and I am unable to place objects after updating my game. I have to manually delete the object and buy it again in order for it to be placed. When my sim cooks and I try to place the food on the small business displays it’ll only allow me to place one plate of food the rest will snap back to where my sim picked it up from.  I also can’t remove food from the fridge to place on the displays either.
