My Sims don't have their wishes and fears

Since the last game update, my Sims haven't displayed their wishes and fears, although they do receive notifications about new fears.

I've disabled all mods and custom content but my Sims still don't display their wishes or fears. This feature is enabled in the settings. It's an essential tool for me :(
