My sims keep turning nude

  • One Sim in the household is completely unselectable/unplayable.
  • Multiple Sims default to nude outfits no matter how many times they’re redressed.
  • Relationships between Sims act corrupted or lost (especially after family edits).
  • The household and world are important — I don’t want to lose them.

What I’ve Already Tried

In-Game Fixes

  • Used testingcheats on and cas.fulleditmode to edit Sims in CAS.
  • Rebuilt and changed every outfit category (Everyday, Formal, etc.) multiple times.
  • Deleted all blank/nude outfits and re-saved Sims.
  • Used Reset Object (Debug) on the affected Sim.
  • Used Add to Family / Remove from Family to re-link control.
  • Tried relationship cheats (family_parent, family_son_daughter) to fix relationships.
  • Tried reversing those same relationship cheats to remove them.
  • Shift-clicked → Modify in CAS several times to reset family and clothing.

Game / File Maintenance

  • Deleted cache files:
    • localthumbcache.package
    • cache folder
    • cachestr folder
    • onlinethumbnailcache folder
  • Ran “Repair Game” from the EA App.
  • Confirmed The Sims 4 and EA App are up to date.
  • Cleared EA App cache.
  • Restarted computer several times after each repair.

Save Management

  • Saved household to Library, started new save, re-placed them — issue persisted.
  • Saved lot to Library as backup.
  • Still can’t select or control one Sim (unplayable), and multiple Sims revert to nude automatically.

    No, I'm not  

    I think what made it this way is that I used the relationship.add_bit cheat to make two Sims related (one parent, one child). After that, one Sim became unplayable, and others default to nude outfits even after repairs and cache clearing.
