Naked/bald Sims

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.56.52.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None (only the free stuff)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? During gameplay...
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I open my game my Sims have no hair or clothes. I have downloaded some CC, only hair and makeup though, but the Sims do not have any clothes on either even though their clothing is not CC. Their clothing is just a skin-colored silhouette and the jewelry turns black. When I go to edit the Sim, however, everything is normal. I have tried removing the CC, redownloading it, deleting my cache, repairing my game, etc. The problem began about two updates ago and I have not been able to solve it since. I haven’t played the Sims in a while and never used CC before so I’m assuming it’s my own error somewhere; I just can’t seem to figure it out. Thank you!
What do you expect to see? My Sims wearing clothes and having hair...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    @yumikuriiDid you check for updates from the cc creators and delete the old files and try running the game with the updated content?

    Does it still do it on a clean test game?
