I was convinced the event went until the end of this week, so I didn't even finish getting the items... total bummer. Hope someone can find an answer for you to help you finish.
There's still time if you're willing to cheat the skills, I completed most of this in a day. It's supposed to end on the 5th, supposedly. I was just trying for a more realistic playthrough.
