    Read an article on gamerant - they gave a tip that if you can't see the chair in the options, you have to claim the reward, which is the chair.

Thank you!!!!! That was the problem. I can't tell you how frustrated  I was for hours, exiting the game, changing households, buying different woodworking tables.. Thank you!!!
