- @SheriGR Is there a certain area you recommend living in on Sulani? โบ๏ธ
- @SheriGR Lol, I like the nickname. Your chickens sound funny. ๐
@AprilTheSimmer96 I have to say the only two lots I've built on in Sulani (and lived on) were rather expensive homes, but they're in the gallery if you're house-hunting.
- This one was built on "Reef Finery" and is called "A View of Paradise".

Both of those lots are gorgeous locations! They are both further out to the sea rather in the little 'village' area.

@AprilTheSimmer96 I sort of like the Lani St. Taz neighborhood. It has a public beach like Ohan'ali Town but it also has easy access to deeper water and scuba dive spots. Depending on which career you decide to play you might want to be near a scuba dive spot just to cut down on travel and loading screens. I like to use the public beaches for kava parties. All three neighborhoods are pretty awesome though. :D
@SheriGRThanks for the links! I'll check 'em out when I get up in the morning. ๐
@RandomBuzzinessYeah I use the "Money" cheat in the cheat box so I have loads of money (the cheat where you type whatever amount you want after) so my Sims don't go to work. ๐ Only Sim that does is Noah Meyer (the kinda cute camera guy you see on the cover) since I decided to let him keep his job. โบ๏ธ Also thanks for the suggestions! ๐- PugLove8885 years agoHero (Retired)
@AprilTheSimmer96 , yes, if you love Moana or any Pacific Islands type of culture and art, then you definitely should get Island Living! ๐ฅณ The avatar you chose is of a Mermaid that lives there, so you can befriend her and add her to your household! ๐ There are 3 other Merfolk there as well, but i will let you discover them on your own! ๐ Of course you can always make your own Merfolk in CAS! โค๏ธ I think you will really enjoy this pack! ๐ฅฐ
Almost every spot on Sulani is gorgeous, and if you don't like the house that is in a lot you pick, you can always download one from the Gallery (like the ones @SheriGR made) and use the freerealestate on cheat to be able to move in! ๐ And for a bit of added fun, at the top of the map of Sulani is a location that is Off-the-Grid that looks like a sunken pirate ship, and a lot that is on an active volcano! ๐คจ๐ @PugLove888I was thinking of getting City Living next but I'm really thinking of getting Island Living now! ๐ Thanks guys (@SheriGR and @RandomBuzziness since I'm already tagging PugLove888 and thanking him/her too)! ๐
Also I saw the trailer for it when I saw it on the main menu on the left so I already knew she was a mermaid but I didn't know whether she'd be in the actual game or not, so thanks for the info! ๐ Also I chose her as my profile pic because when I first saw the cover art for Island Living in the Xbox Store she reminded me of Moana because of her clothing. ๐
And I definitely will be adding her to my household whenever I can get the pack (now that you suggested it)! ๐
And also thanks for the info! ๐@AprilTheSimmer96 Ya, I forgot her name but I built a bakery and hired her (mermaid you're talking about). She was nice enough, but a bit of a ditz as an employee... they lived above the store and she kept showing up in their living room and dancing to the stereo. I think I ended up needing to lock the door to the home part. ๐
You can make any of your sims a mermaid by having them get mermadic kelp and eating it. I was playing a family @PugLove888 made and I made both of the parent a mermaid/merman!
If you're interested in mermaids, there's a great Carl's Guide on them here: https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/expansionpacks/islandliving/mermaids.php
@SheriGRLol, that's funny. ๐
Just noticed the second part of your post. And thanks for the info and link! ๐ Really appreciate it. โบ๏ธ

@AprilTheSimmer96 , City Living is one of my favorites, but I think in your case you might like Island Living even more! โค๏ธ Normally it is hard to recommend packs in when people ask because it depends on how they play or what they like, but since you clearly love Pacific Islands culture then It seems a natural fit for you! ๐
Oh, BTW, I'm a "her". I realize my avatar doesn't help with that! ๐ ๐ถ
@SheriGR , thanks for mentioning the Mermadic Kelp! I always forget that since I have only used it once! ๐คญ
