I wanted to make my sim a girl to get as a girlfriend so i made a 2 sims to be my sims neighbor and im just curious after multiple days in game the neighbors dont have any jobs, do i need to play as them to get them a job or will they get one eventually?
@T1GPanda The NPCs I place in my game will often automatically get a job after a certain amount of time, but it seems sort of random. Usually it seems like they will get a job related to their Aspiration, like if I give them the Creativity/Painter Extraordinaire aspiration I will often see them eventually get jobs as painters at the art gallery. Sometimes they get jobs I'd rather they not have, like I'll see them work at food booths or as a bartender. Some of them just stay unemployed. To be honest I think the easiest & fastest way to get them the jobs you want is to switch to that household, start them in their new careers, and then switch back to your original household.
