Neighborhood Stories Issue

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a main save in game and I have neighborhood stories turned off through game settings, I eve went into manage households and manually turned off all options yet sims outside of the "My Households" section are still moving in and out, having babies and adopting animals, I even tried moving all households into the "My Households" section in hopes that would stop neighborhood stories, but still no hope. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried repairing my game multiple times and playing without mods/cc, but no hope unfortunately. I don't want to have to keep moving sims into their original, respective households and keep deleting random babies/pets. The only mods I have are MCCC and UI Extension Cheats. Any help is appreciated.

    It's possible, however I never used to have this issue and I dont know how I would turn it off to completely stop the sims in my world from moving in/out and having babies, how would I turn off story progression through MCCC?

    @GothBabii I have no clue. I don't use mccc.

    Best test is to remove the mod, test on a backup of you save and see if they still move.
