new bug :(

Question

🚨BUG🚨i was playing with business and hobbies and my sims an elder and i wanted to pass down the business to her son, i tried doing that while the business was open (im guessing it’s bugged because i did it whilst it was open) and now it comes up with this thing when i try to load back into their household, “failed to load, we recommend you restart the game” which is super frustrating!!! in the end i got the son to move out but i had to actually do it from the world view and not the phone because it was that bugged. got him to live somewhere else and made him get a new business, but now sometimes it says he has a business and sometimes he doesn’t. for example, it said he had a business but when i went into CAS to make a male uniform, i finished it and went back to live mode and when id click on the business icon in the bottom right corner, it said “register for small business” even though i have one!🚨please fix this🚨

What's the error code your getting on that message ?
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have, then- Trigger the error again- Check if new ones are created- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

i play on xbox so i don’t really know how to do that, but a new thing is that i got my sim that was going to have the business to move out, and made him create his own business but now it says he doesn’t have one. anyways i then still wanted the family to stay alive so i got him to have a child and moved the child out to live with a random so i can play as the new child. i’m now receiving calls from other sims as if im the father sim, even though he no longer lives with me. i don’t know what to do&nbsp;

also, i don’t think i will be able to get that error message anymore because i’ve moved all sims out of the lot where the business was :/

You can't get LEs on XBox but you should still have an error code on the failed to load message.&nbsp;
Do you remember anything about the message ? The first three numbers maybe ?
I'm guessing something is bugged now with the Sim but finding out what is a bit difficult if you're on console.
There's a bug report for businesses not showing owned anymore here: Business Panel Doesn't Show Owned Businesses | EA Forums - 4956046 but to me sounds that was just a symptom of something else going wrong in your game.
Nevertheless it's probably best if you report your issue there. This is the gameplay issue which is more for players help players then EA looking into your issue.

ah yes it does say i don’t have a business anymore even though i do, i will look at the link you’ve shared! sorry i can’t provide the error code, i tried to get it to pop up again but it won’t. so the only issue i can see now is my business not existing it seems, thankyou though
