@PugLove888 Yes, I thought of you when I watched the trailer, that you would be happy!
Edit: So now that I have looked some more on it, it seems there will be swimmable water, at least in the world, that is a very nice feature! I hope the ducks in the water have interactions, but even if they are just decor I like them. I like the fox, the way it looks and that they have added a predator; I hope it will be fun to engage with it. And yes, the limitations of what can be cooked is a long requested feature I am glad they add now, for I have many sims I want to be living a life of strife, or at least a life where not everything is provided at their doorstep. If this Lot Challenge is a lot trait I will make use of it for many households in my playsave. Yes, the more I read about it the better it seems.
@DonroaAkashu , well we won't be able to actually swim in the ponds, just splash around the edges (great for children!). And we can stock them with fish. Here is a tweet about it from a Sim Guru Antonio Romeo (@SimGuruRomeo) / Twitter
I think I also heard that there will be a river in the new world/neighborhood so that might be were we see Sims swimming in deeper water. But I do remember noticing in the trailer that there was a child splashing on the edge of the pond. So I think some people are confusing the two.
Yes, I'm addicted to gardening, even if it is just a few plants. So my Sims in apartments have a hard time and can only grow a few things and no trees! Did you notice that it looked like kids can help cook in this pack?!?! I also heard that you can find different color bunnies by searching for them in the "wild"! 🐰🐇
There will probably be quite a few new Challenges that people can participate in if they wish with this pack. And some updates to existing challenges, I would assume! 🥳
I would think the Lot Challenge would be a lot trait, but it is possible they could implement it another way. 🤔
And yes, I'm very, very excited about this pack! 🥳🥰🍄🥳

@PugLove888 Oh, I was hoping someone would post so that I could post again! I am getting more excited about this pack, because it looks in the trailer as if the water is built on the editable lot, which means there is a natural pond tool added, which you confirm! Thank you for the link, I don't read twitter, so that was helpful. I have looked forward to a pond tool for a long time, and will use it extensibly. I don't even care that the sims only can splash in it. Perhaps they will add to it further on.
And I am sorry, but I tried to ignore the rabbit, and I don't play with children; but I like the bird singing, I think I will add that tree to many lots!- PugLove8884 years agoHero (Retired)
@DonroaAkashu , 🤣🙌🥳
From what it looks like, you will use a tool to dig the hole for the pond, but you will use a water tool to add water to it. Landscapers/Builders like @SheriGR are going to love this! 🥰 I don't read Twitter either, but a friend sent the link to me.
As for birds, I already have some birds with the Backyard Stuff Pack (the bird feeder has birds!) so I am more excited about the rabbits and foxes in the wild. There looks to be ducks or swans, but those might just be decoration/effects much like butterflies if you don't go camping with the Outdoor Retreat Game Pack. I love family gameplay, though when I explore packs that don't feature it, I usually make a single Sim for simplicity (pun totally intended!😜 ) or perhaps a couple.- DonroaAkashu4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Hehe, there should be a 'you make me laugh' button here! I'm all for puns, and the description of this pack were simply flooded by them, puh!
I have that pack, and place the bird feeder everywhere, for the simple interaction and the moodlet it provides. I like building, but I want there to be a reason for the lots existing in my world, not just aesthetics; and so all these kind of small interactive objects are well appreciated.
