@DonroaAkashu , 🤣🙌🥳
From what it looks like, you will use a tool to dig the hole for the pond, but you will use a water tool to add water to it. Landscapers/Builders like @SheriGR are going to love this! 🥰 I don't read Twitter either, but a friend sent the link to me.
As for birds, I already have some birds with the Backyard Stuff Pack (the bird feeder has birds!) so I am more excited about the rabbits and foxes in the wild. There looks to be ducks or swans, but those might just be decoration/effects much like butterflies if you don't go camping with the Outdoor Retreat Game Pack. I love family gameplay, though when I explore packs that don't feature it, I usually make a single Sim for simplicity (pun totally intended!😜 ) or perhaps a couple.
Hehe, there should be a 'you make me laugh' button here! I'm all for puns, and the description of this pack were simply flooded by them, puh!
I have that pack, and place the bird feeder everywhere, for the simple interaction and the moodlet it provides. I like building, but I want there to be a reason for the lots existing in my world, not just aesthetics; and so all these kind of small interactive objects are well appreciated.

@DonroaAkashu , I love puns too! 🤪
I can't wait to see what more we can do with Cottage Living! 😃
I love smaller interactive objects... now if we can just get a desktop microscope and a decent sized telescope I'd be happy! 😅- DonroaAkashu4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Oh, I like the big one for the added interaction of woohoo! More woohoo-objects! The Sims 4 asthetics of big objects could be used to give us a loom though, since they can be very large. I would love to create beautiful tapestry to hang on my sims walls and museums. The embroidery seen in the trailer for this new pack is a promise of more arts and crafts coming!

@DonroaAkashu , I do like the big telescope as a woohoo location, but not all my Sims need that. Also, some of my Sims don't have the room (especially if they live in an apartment or on a small lot! (or have a lot of other furniture or clutter). So that is why I want a smaller telescope... so I can have a choice of a large one for either a serious scientist, or as a woohoo location, or else get a smaller one for smaller spaces!
Also the Sim Gurus have confirmed a new death and a new woohoo spot! 😂 I bet the death will be Death By Chicken Attack! 🐓😈🤣
I totally agree about the loom! 💗 I wanted a large one and a small one for kids! I think they did the cross - stitch activity instead (makes sense as it is portable!) and they gave us that because that way keeping llamas gives our Sims something besides protecting chickens from foxes!

Haha so precious how you both are so excited for the pack! I'm also really excited. I've not been a longtime Sims4 gamer (only since 2019) but I am really into it now. I am wondering if limited cooking (aka, only able to cook recipes you actually have the ingredients for) will be a lot trait, or this would be the rule in all neighborhoods? I would prefer this, it's more realistic and it is so much fun to go out hunting for the items you need. :D I played Farmville1 by Zynga (RIP) for like 9 years, so it kind of feels like Sims is now meeting Farmville. It's so exciting! And I'm really curious about the new neighborhood. I just hope it has some small(er) lots. I don't really like to build massive houses. Although a bit lot could have a big garden/farm with this new pack. 🙌 PS. thanks to remind me about the bird feeder in the Backyard Stuff pack, I got it last week and still forgot to check out this feature haha.

Yes, I feel like a child at christmas every time I hear about a new sims pack! I hope for smaller lots as well, I like the size 20X15 best, I never know what to place on the ones bigger than 30X20.
Yes, some are very good at moo, and can use it well.- SheriGR4 years agoHero
@DonroaAkashu I know, right?! I build mainly 30x20 lots for that reason, too. Having several lots that are larger than 30x20 in the new pack would enhance the whole game (they are currently overly sparse) and would really be needed in order to have outbuildings, a large garden, a pond, etc. on a lot.
