e6hlcfr89hr8​  I agree that this sounds very frustrating! I'm wondering if you have luck enabled? I disabled mine quickly since I'm only amused by or appreciate the push-back of some of these things in moderation, but that's me. Due to that I disabled luck in my settings.

There's a bug report for gnomes spawning for no reason. They are looking for more information so I recommend you upvote it and comment with details of your experience.

With the exception of the bug MapleSimmer mentioned that some people have, the gnomes are usually caused by one of the visitors (or employees) at your restaurant having the gnome lure ailment. You can turn ailments off in settings.

i have the ailments turned off too. I will just go to the bug report and upvote it because i have no idea how they are spawning. they are spawning even in my home.

I’ve had the Gnome issues too (breaking appliances OFTEN etc)…. Fastest way to deal with them before they cause more damage (I’ve found)…put them in your inventory. Or you can appease them…only giving them “pie” seems to work for some. The ones who aren’t appeased…go straight to inventory. It’s worked for several different Sims scenarios for me. Hope this helps. 

I also noticed if you have the Seasons package…they seem to spawn (for me) around Thanksgiving. This has happened frequently and in different game scenarios for me. 

i think thats because of the tradition in your holidays traditions called Holiday Gnomes.

Yes, I have the seasons package too…they seem to spawn most around T- day and Xmas. I usually keep the appeased ones (ie halos) bc they drop seed packets on the floor every time they relocate themselves. It’s the ones with flames I put in inventory and all my issues stopped.
