New expension pack Cottage Living out 22 July

Oh, I like the big one for the added interaction of woohoo! More woohoo-objects! The Sims 4 asthetics of big objects could be used to give us a loom though, since they can be very large. I would love to create beautiful tapestry to hang on my sims walls and museums. The embroidery seen in the trailer for this new pack is a promise of more arts and crafts coming!

@DonroaAkashu , I do like the big telescope as a woohoo location, but not all my Sims need that.  Also, some of my Sims don't have the room (especially if they live in an apartment or on a small lot! (or have a lot of other furniture or clutter).  So that is why I want a smaller telescope... so I can have a choice of a large one for either a serious scientist, or as a woohoo location, or else get a smaller one for smaller spaces! 

Also the Sim Gurus have confirmed a new death and a new woohoo spot! 😂  I bet the death will be Death By Chicken Attack! 🐓😈🤣

I totally agree about the loom! 💗 I wanted a large one and a small one for kids!   I think they did the cross - stitch activity instead (makes sense as it is portable!)  and they gave us that because that way keeping llamas gives our Sims something besides protecting chickens from foxes! 

I bet the woohoo spot is in the hay with the cows, at least I hope so. And yes, that is probably an accurate guess that a fight with the chickens will result in death.
I rarely have a lot of objects on residential lots unless they function as something else, like a daycare; but instead place all the objects sims can use on community venues, to give them a reason to go there.

@DonroaAkashu , I was also thinking that the new woohoo spot would be in a pile of hay... it is just so classic!  (But it sounds uncomfortable😣 ).  I'm sure there will be some who will think it is too much like the woohoo in the leaf pile that came with Seasons, but in all honesty where else would it be?... the stack of hay is too iconic!  If they had it anywhere else then other people would be disappointed and say they missed an obvious opportunity. 😅

Ah, yes, simmers mostly express all the things they don't like about the game, don't they. The leaf pile I like, despite being a little unreliable, but there simply needs to be a woohoo spot on every venue (...), and not all of the ones I build fit together with an observatory or a wardrobe; it will be nice with a more 'nature suited' option! Perhaps it really will be in a pile of hay like TS3.

I'am soooo excited for this to come out!! the Bunnies look so adorable and its awesome that we are getting llamas!! I hope the gameplay is as interesting as the trailer made it seem. The only thing I wish was kinda in the pack is Pigs but its ok at least we are getting a farming pack, and who knows maybe one day we will get pigs.

Yes, there really should be some pigs for all that meat on the table! A bit too gruesome for TS4 maybe, and perhaps it is quorn and the sims need to pick the mushrooms for it in the woods instead. I find the map in the end of the trailer very interesting, that ring of stones looks ritualistic, and the ruin on top of that gives the impression there could be some gameplay attached to it..

@PugLove888 & @DonroaAkashu I also LOVE that bird feeder!! I believe I only made a pond that is workable for both swimming and fishing once. It took me hours of testing, placement and MOO and just to make that pond (which is actually a pool), so thought it is possible currently this will be an amazing and fun tool to use for lots on which this makes sense! I hope the swimming/landscaping ponds will also have fish. Did you hear any mention of that? I didn't notice. Of course you can make it into a pond with the fishing sigh debug item, but it will be nice if it happens by default. Edit (comment 26 and earlier mentions, apparently!! I'm late to the party!)... looks like you can stock the landscaping ponds with fish and splash at the edge. 

I've dreamt of making a working farm that also used the off-the-grid feature. I think when the pack comes out I will first make a normal country home to play, then my next goal can be off-the-grid. I may or may not include some of the Eco Living stuff to do that. My preference for that is to go more 'Amish/back-to-nature' and not use the 'English' (lol - Amish joke intended)/modern stuff in it to help (solar panels, generator, etc.)

I have made several 'ponds' using the pool tool; for instance, in Selvadorada I made them look like swamp water, all murky and brown, and placed the debug fish objecs to make swimming with the fishes possible. Here where I live an inland water body equals swimmable water, so I will continue to make them but the pond tool will be great for smaller areas of water looking more natural in the edges, the pool rim is hard to cover up (I don't use moo). It would be nice if there was fishes in the pond, to add, but the koi water lillies from Snowy Escape works good as well for decorative purposes.

Haha so precious how you both are so excited for the pack! I'm also really excited. I've not been a longtime Sims4 gamer (only since 2019) but I am really into it now. I am wondering if limited cooking (aka, only able to cook recipes you actually have the ingredients for) will be a lot trait, or this would be the rule in all neighborhoods? I would prefer this, it's more realistic and it is so much fun to go out hunting for the items you need. :D I played Farmville1 by Zynga (RIP) for like 9 years, so it kind of feels like Sims is now meeting Farmville. It's so exciting! And I'm really curious about the new neighborhood. I just hope it has some small(er) lots. I don't really like to build massive houses. Although a bit lot could have a big garden/farm with this new pack. 🙌 PS. thanks to remind me about the bird feeder in the Backyard Stuff pack, I got it last week and still forgot to check out this feature haha.
