Very disappointing news. Players across all platforms pay the same for the game so should have access to all free content. I only play The Sims, and have for many years, it makes no sense for me to have an EA Plays sub.
As a player who buys all the dlc for the game on release, this is the first decision EA has made that has angered me to this extent. Come on guys, we all give you enough already.
