Nifty Knitting: paintings by played sims can't be bought on plopsy?

I looked for any similar topic but I could not find it:

I have a sim that has several paintings listed on plopsy and usually the buyers are "random" (?) sims, not any townie that I know of, nor my other played sims. However I went to another sims household and browsed plopsy to see if I could purchase my other sims paintings. They don't show. Is that just a rotational thing, that when plopsy refreshes, the paintings might actually be there? Or it's in any case not possible, maybe by design?

    I can't buy my other Sims creations on plopsy when I change household. I think it's by design, but I could be wrong. So I create retail lots to sell my paintings and knitted crafts, plus other things like carvings, candles, flower arrangements, preserves and more. So that way, when I've played a Sim that's crafted a lot of unique items my other Sims can buy them instead of having to be creative themselves.
