No Co-Workers science career sims 4 Xbox One
I have tried multiple times with different sims but every time the lot is empty. I have tried resetting my game uninstalling the game and all the DLC and reinstalling to no avail, I've tried making new townies and the only co worker to be added is a receptionist! Is there a way to fix this because it's really holding back my progression in the science career.

This is a known problem.You did well to add new townies. One thing is more needed. You must enter several NPC families and employ them at the Institute. Then you have to mark these families again as "not played". The next day you will have employees at the Institute.
I would like to ask if you could create a bug report about this in the bug forum. Until now, this bug was reported only by PC players.
