No color choices in The Sims 4

I'm totally biased, but I also think Sims 4 would be better with Create a Style and the color wheel. It was, and still is, a great feature of TS3.
- @puzzlezaddict Thank you for that. And yeah, this would've been a great feature for TS4 yet it was omitted for IDK what reason. There shouldn't be a reason to be given limited color choices for clothes, hairstyle and skins (even eye colors as well). I'm surprised no one noticed this issue.

The reason they didn't include the Create-A-STyle (CASt) color/pattern wheel was because depending on the amount of colors or patterns you have saved on it, it would make the game slower and slower, at least anytime you opened CAS, or Buy/Build Mode. I collected so many (I was addicted!😳 ) It would take at least 20 min for CAS, Buy, or Build Mode to open!!! 😞😢 It was my absolute favorite thing in TS3, but TS3 ran soooo slow (often stopping altogether ) that TS3 is my least favorite version of the Sims. But the amount of colors/patterns I had in CASt wasn't the only thing slowing the game down. The open world slowed it down the most. 😞
The hair color picker was a bit different than the CASt wheel in that there were no patterns to worry about, just main color, roots, tips, and highlights. 🥳
I think overall, they kept the amount of colors low in TS4 so that more computers could run it. I do wish there were some sort of consistency with the color choices. Sometime the shirt I want for my Sim doesn't come in the color I want. The shrit next to it does, but I don't like the shape of that one on my Sim.☹️ It is also really difficult to match outfits and room décor , and for an OCD person like me, this is aggravating. But it is still far less aggravating than a game that would stop running! 🤨
I would love to have CASt back, but I still don't want to wait 20, 30, or 40 minutes for it each time! 😇
- @PugLove888 Glad to see others think that way. Also, I'm not sure what your PC specs are but I had no issues with color picker in TS3, and it ran pretty well, even though I don't have a pretty beefy PC. Still, it shouldn't be hard to re-introduce the option to pick colors for ourselves instead of giving us limited color choices. It can't be that difficult to implement it, at least in my opinion.
