No Event Countdown or Goals Showing Up For Sleepovers

So I am currently hosting a sleepover for the first time since buying this pack and nothing seems to be working? I am assuming it's supposed to be a goaled event since there are item rewards to be unlocked but I have no countdown in the corner or a list of goals etc like you usually would when hosting any other event. My guest Sim didn't even show up automatically I had to invite her myself and the only "sleepover" related interaction I could do with her was welcome her to the house. The entire feature seems to be rendered useless.

@JadeCookies12 During a sleepover event, most of the interactions are on the host sim - and you don't need to buy any sleeping bags. If you click on the host, you should have (among other options) an interaction "ask guests to set up sleeping bags" which will cause all your guests to spawn sleeping bags (though if they didn't show up as an event guest they probably won't be included in this interaction). Once guests set up sleeping bags, there will be a new option "Time for Bed" and this will cause guests to sleep in their sleeping bags.

Did you make sure the goaled event checkbox was ticked when you planned the slumber party?

And just to confirm - this was the slumber party event and not a stayover guest?

I would also like to add that the guest didn't even use the sleeping bag provided and instead chose to go walking around the streets or slept on the street I have no idea where she went. But she disappeared once it was bedtime. I feel like I have wasted my time even attempting to host this event...

yes, this sounds like a stayover guest, not the sleepover event.

Oh, I didn’t realise there was a difference. I thought stay over guest was a sleepover.

I don’t think I did click goals now that I think about it. But I didn’t realise stay over guest was different to sleepover. Is there a way to delete this thread? I feel like I’ve just got confused and I feel a bit stupid now

@JadeCookies12 I moved it to games issues. Don't feel stupid, I'm sure it will help someone else that has the same confusion :D
