@emmybubble17 , thank you for the update!😇 I'm glad you found that it was a Mods problem! -- That is half the battle! 🙌
Depending on how many Mods/CC items you have you can either test it by adding them back to your game , one by one, until you find the one that breaks it. But if you have a lot of Mods or CC items, you could do the 50/50 Method and test them in batches, and then when you find the batch that causes the problem, you can then test by adding back your Mods/CC one by one until you discover which is the culprit!
Also, be sure to delete the localthumbcache.package file if you have not already done so! That file can retain bits of corrupted data that can also cause problems in your game! 🤨 That file can be found in your game folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4).
Thank you, i have ALOT of cc and mods, i know its not the cc and they are all nicely organised in folders, deffinetly a mod, currently on the sims forums double checking what ive missed before i have to do the 50/50 method 🙂

@emmybubble17 , while it probably is a Mod, I never ignore the possibility of it being CC since I've seen outdated CC do some strange things to the game! We once had a player here that had Sims that refused to go to work, no matter what... turned out it was outdated CC eyelashes causing the problem! 😲🤣
I hope finding the culprit isn't too tedious for you! 🤞
Please keep us updated! 😇
