- @madhavi108 Is your Sim a newborn or an infant? They're two different life stages.
A newborn is treated like an "object" (I know it's not ideal) so you cannot separate them from the bassinet. If you want to interact with them you need to click on the bassinet.
An infant is the next life stage, they have some autonomy and to interact with them you need to click directly on them.
