Non existent roof clipping in room

There's a glitched half of a roof's wall stuck in my build. I can't click on it. There was a roof there but I moved them so they wouldn't clip in with the fences by the staircase, which are not even forming a room, which is generally what causes the rooves to clip. 

I'm not sure when it started in the build but I did move a room into the room. The room I moved into the larger room only had one wall and the other 2 were spandrels. I deleted the walls of that room so its one large room now. 

I tried deleting it, deleting the rooms, the walls, the rooves, moving the rooms above and below it as well as the one its in, moving the whole lot as sometimes that fixes visual glitches for me.

I did end up solving it by reloading the lot but wanted to post in case anyone else has had a similar issue, any idea what causes it? Could it be cc or mod related? Or is it a problem with my computer graphics as I play on my laptop.

If anyone has any ideas or has experienced it as well let me know! Such a bizarre glitch I've never seen in my 13000 hours of sims😅

    I don't know of any CC or mods that would cause this, but the only way to be sure is to rename the folder and try again. 

    I'm actually going to move you over to Gameplay Issues, where there are active builders. Do post about whether renaming the Mods folder works, though.

    LizardWizard87​  I can't tell what you've got going on from your pics.  I am willing to try to help you so if you would like me to take a look at the build to see if I can find why that roof segment is hanging around, all you need to do is upload the lot to the gallery and reply here with the name of the lot and your userid if different from the one you use here (LizardWizard87).
