One specific household won't load

Hi folks — having a problem where as of today my main household won't load, I just get this error message. Other households in the same save file load just fine, and I was even able to play as one of the sims from the affected household because she was on a different lot — when I tried to send her home, I got this error message again. I tried visiting the affected lot with a sim from a different household, and got the error message. It seems like this one lot just won't load.

I don't use any mods/CC, my game is up to date, and I tried repairing it in the EA app. I'm playing on Mac. 

(This is the household where I have all the collections and career rewards and stuff unlocked so...I would really love not to lose it)
