Organization/sorting desperately needed

I fervently hope that EA will give us -- very soon -- the ability to ORGANIZE our Sims' personal and household inventories and list of people known. I really enjoying playing Sims who are both into gathering/collecting and highly social. I want to be able to go into my Sims' inventories and keep the crystals together, the frogs together, the plants together, etc. I end up selling and selling just to be able to find things in the personal inventory. And the acquaintances list! Organizing by tab is not enough. I want on the main ("all") tab to be able to sort by name, age, anything other than this clump of faces in random places. Though most of all, I want to be able to sort personal inventory. It is quite necessary and long overdue, especially with all the added content. Thank you for reading.

    I have been frustrated with the inventory for years and never thought to menion it, but Yes!! with the multitude of things that a sim can gather now it would be amazing to be able to categorise and or sort the items within the inventory.

    My current sim is in the Science profession and the random things he needs to fulfill his daily tasks its really hard to be able to check to see what he has on a regular basis to see if I have prepared enough for his tasks.

    I really am surprised this hasn't been done already. after playing for nearly 20 years, Im even more surprised that I hadn't thought to ask about it sooner!!

    Thank you for enabling us to sort inventory. Especially for the filter option.

    BUT

    I would very much like to be able to sort Favourites to the top, and everything else below it in whichever order is selected.

    I would very much like to be able to sort things into categories, and the categories in my custom order.

    I would like an 'everything else' option.

    I would like a 'no particular order' option.

    I would like a 'most frequently used on top' option.

    I would VERY much appreciate if we could bring up all items that belong to a certain pack. I would appreciate if outdoor furniture (in German Außenmöbel) would contain tables, but they show up in garden tables (Gartentische). There is a fountain that comes with the romantic garden pack and I kept searching for it around 3 times because I always forgot where they put it. It's not under fountains as you might imagine, it's in outdoor activities (because you can play with it). And the little painters table that comes with the painters carreer is called Tabouret and you can't find it anywhere unless you know its name.
