I have been frustrated with the inventory for years and never thought to menion it, but Yes!! with the multitude of things that a sim can gather now it would be amazing to be able to categorise and or sort the items within the inventory.
My current sim is in the Science profession and the random things he needs to fulfill his daily tasks its really hard to be able to check to see what he has on a regular basis to see if I have prepared enough for his tasks.

I really am surprised this hasn't been done already. after playing for nearly 20 years, Im even more surprised that I hadn't thought to ask about it sooner!!
